In the quiet town of Oeiras, among historic buildings and popular pastry shops, practices Dr. Paco Baptista, a small dog (but with an enormous résumé) who, against all genetic odds, is a lawyer graduated from the best universities in Portugal.

No one knows exactly how a 6 kg Shih-Tzu managed to get into Coimbra, but rumors said he hid in a freshman’s backpack and, once inside, simply began barking legal arguments so convincingly that the professors thought it best not to question him.
